Before you ask
What exactly does the $100 a month cover?
Everything: hosting on fast servers, WordPress core and plugin updates, security hardening and 24/7 monitoring, Cloudflare setup and monitoring, SSL, and regular off-site backups. It’s $100/month ex GST ($110 inc GST), billed monthly with no lock-in contract. The only things outside it are new development work or a redesign - those we quote separately so you always know what you’re paying for.
Can you host a site you didn’t build?
Yes - most sites we manage were built by someone else. We review the site first to make sure it’s in reasonable shape, flag anything that needs attention, then migrate it across. You don’t need to have built it with us.
Will moving my site cause downtime?
No. We stage the site on our servers, test it, then switch DNS over through Cloudflare so the change is seamless. Visitors keep hitting a working site the whole way through.
Do I need my own Cloudflare account?
Not necessarily - we can set Cloudflare up under an account you own, or manage it for you. Either way you keep control of your domain and DNS; we just configure and monitor it so it’s actually doing its job.
What happens if my site gets hacked or goes down?
Monitoring alerts us, usually before you’ve noticed. Because we hold regular off-site backups and keep everything hardened and current, we can clean up or roll back quickly. Prevention is most of the value here - the hardening and updates are what stop it happening in the first place.
What if I need changes to the site itself?
Small tweaks are part of being reachable - ask and we’ll sort them. Larger work like new pages, features or a redesign sits outside the hosting plan and we quote it fixed-price up front, so managed hosting never becomes an open-ended bill.
Is there a contract?
No lock-in. It’s a flat monthly plan you can stop any time, and because it’s standard WordPress on standard infrastructure, your site is always yours to take elsewhere if you ever want to.
